Catch up with the Redmond's

Since October 2009...let's see what has been going on with us. I have a good reason not to have blogged all of these months.

First off, the holidays were a whirlwind, but they were awesome.
We had Ed's paternal side of the family over for dinner for Thanksgiving, and of course Ed's mom too. It was a great night surrounded by family.
Christmas we spent at home for most of the day, and then headed to Ed's paternal side of the family.
New Year's we stayed home with our neighbors and had a terrific dinner.

Bodie is growing like a weed. He us approximately 40" tall and weighs in over 33lbs. He is talking up a storm, and can count to 12 in english, 3 in spanish, and can say his ABC's. He attends preschool. He is such a great little kid. Very caring and sensitive.

So in the beginning of November, I was 'sick' and it put me out of commission for quite some time. Thankfully it seems to have been diagnosed and treated, and I am feeling myself again. I am very thankful that it wasn't more serious, although it seems to be something that will affect me for the rest of my life.

Ed is working for the state, and although it isn't the dream job he was hoping for, it is a job, and it pays him routinely. So for now, it works. Unfortunately, it is still not near the $$ that he used to make, but at least he can work his way up to it.

The three of us love spending the day just as a family. We go to fun places like Disney, Six Flags, the zoo, etc. We are looking forward to going to Disney with some great friends on a road trip!
